Geographic situation
The sanctuary is situated in the South of France, in the region Languedoc - Roussillon, in the North of the department of Hérault, in 50km in the North of Montpelier, 70km of Nimes or 25km of Le Vigan.
Leaned in the massif of Séranne, in border of Southern Cevennes, it is on the territory of the municipality of BRISSAC near GANGES. It is a part of the sector Pic Saint Loup - Porte des Cévennes and in the diocese of Montpellier.
This very tourist place is situated between the Mediterranean Sea in about sixty kilometers and the massif of Aigoual which peaks in 1567m at one o'clock of car.
This site is also near from Saint-Guilhem le Désert, the "Cave of Demoiselles", "Cave of Clamouse" and the "Cirque de Navacelles", and 100 km from the "Abbey of Sylvanès".
It belongs to The World Heritage of Humanity.
Reception
It would be desirable that in agreement with the diocese, a monastic community can settle down in the sanctuary to welcome the pilgrims all year round.
In this expectation, a reception is assured every Sundays afternoon by the Chaplain assisted by several laymen.
